Blurb : Long time friends and musicians joined together from two separate projects to form the Found Piece that you know today. Matt, Gene, and Michael have been performing together since August 2015, and were happy to welcome Eric as a permanent member of the group in 2019. Mike became a member of the band in 2020. The band draws influence from Sevendust, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Bullet For My Valentine among others. The eclectic style of Found Piece comes from the collaborative nature of the project.
Members (Expanded):
Gene Walsh: Gene has been studying music since 1996. He played guitar in the band Break My Fall with drummer Michael Ferrick prior to the start of Found Piece. Gene has a B.F.A from MCLA, and studied for a time at Berklee College of Music. When not performing he is currently a private music instructor.
Eric Santa: Eric joined Found Piece in 2019 as its fourth member. Eric feels that music is therapeutic. Eric plays the drums, and guitar but is the bassist of the band. He is a fan of Tool, and enjoys the process of songwriting.

Matthew Franklin: Matt began singing in 2002. Occasionally he will play the guitar with the band, but his focus as a musician is voice. Matt aims to inspire others through music, and his favorite artist is Corey Taylor, or Slipknot.
Michael Ferrick: Michael has been playing drums since the early 2000’s, and spent 4 years playing in the band Break My Fall alongside guitarist, Gene Walsh. Mike has also worked in booking for New England Concerts.
